Oncopadi Technologies LTD, a Digital Health Innovation Company empowering confident cancer care decisions by patients, clinicians and caregivers is Africa’s first digital and user-friendly cancer care navigation, and resource tool. The objectives of Oncopadi Digital Technologies revolve around
Accelerating and enabling cancer patients to generate and engage their own health data
Building new technologies that improve population health and lower health care barriers in oncology
Creating a collaborative and diverse health care innovation ecosystem to improve cancer care
Designing and implementing a new model of medicine that leverages digital health for cancer care
Oncopadi Tech collaborates with academicians, scientists, physicians and researchers from various academic institutions.
The Research and Development (R&D) unit, Oncopadi Tech is committed to generating new data on cancer care and improving patient outcomes through digital health. Critical to our work is the knowledge that people impacted by cancer can deploy digital health resources to improve their quality of life, health care decision making process and experience.
The R&D unit is accelerating collaborative digital health research in the oncology ecosystem and we are conducting collaborative health care innovation studies in Nigeria.
These studies aim to generate insights that would promote value-based oncology care in Nigeria. Oncopadi has opened the application process for a new digital health and cancer research fellowship, which will support health care researchers to build digital health expertise into their careers and better harness the potential of new digital technologies and practices.
The Fellowship is designed to educate and train individuals with a passion for healthcare innovation in critical issues and processes related to the development and commercialization of digital technologies.
This will be supported by a programme of workshops to stimulate fellows to confidently lead digital health transformations for their health care institutions.
The fellowship is an exciting opportunity for health care innovators (clinical staff, including doctors, nurses, allied health professionals, dentists, healthcare scientists, pharmacists etc), to shape and accelerate the oncology and digital revolution.
The fellowship program will provide fellows with the time to collaborate with clinicians, technologists, entrepreneurs, scientists and patients.
The Oncopadi Digital Health and Cancer Research Fellowship will give candidates an invaluable opportunity for protected time away from academic/clinical commitments to focus on helping shape the ongoing research and development activities of the unit.
