According to down detector data WhatsApp is still not working. There is no official word from the Meta or Whatsapp about the issue on their social media handles. According to the data around 12000 users have reported issues with WhatsApp not working on the down detector website. The data further displayed that the error started at around 12.50 PM IST.
It’s been more than 30 minutes that WhatsApp is down and memes have surely taken over Twitter.
