The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) announced on Wednesday the start of the recruitment of electoral staff for the 2023 general elections.

To that end, the Electoral Commissioner said he had opened his recruitment portal, adding that eligible candidates should start applying for the post.

INEC announced this on Wednesday in a post on its Facebook page. He said the portal which was open on Wednesday (today) will be closed on December 14, 2022.

The statement read: “The Commission has approved the reactivation of INECPRES both the mobile application for Android phones only and the web portal (laptops only).

“To this end, the portal is open to candidates eligible for registration of all categories of ad hoc employees (SPO/PO/APO/RATECHS/RAC managers) with the exception of collation agents.

“The portal opens on Wednesday, September 14 and closes on December 14, 2022.”

A B.Sc or Masters degree from an accredited university in a related discipline or an HND in a relevant course in any field of study. In addition, you must have a good knowledge of the computers and their basic applications used for work and the proper execution of the various tasks required by the organization.

General Criteria For All Positions

b. Candidates must not have demonstrated or expressed support for any candidate or party
