Apply for Kebbi State University of Science and Technology Aliero Resumption of Duty by Striking Staff – 2022

I am directed to draw the attention of all staff unions that education is still on the concurrent list of the Nigeria constitution where by both federal and state government have right to establish and operate universities on their separate terms and Conditional of service.

I am to further draw your attention to the fact the each and every state university entered into contractual agreement of employment with is staff or workforce without the intervention of any union and/or third party. However the council observed with dismay that despite the salaries and other entitlements being uninterruptedly paid to the member of staff in addition to the persuasive approach adopted by putting a committee to look into other issues raised by the unions, the unions still continue with the solidarity strike which if care is not taken will lead to the total collapse of the system.

It is in the light of the foregoing, that the me council once again appeals to all the unions to resume work without further delay or the principle of no work no pay and other sanctions will commence with effect from the month of August, 2022 in accordance with the conditions of service of the university.

I therefore look forward to your resumption without further delay and in the same vein assure you that the council will do everything possible within its powers to enhance the welfare of the staff.
